Flat-surfaced and well-maintained pathways along the Loire and other rivers, through forests and vineyards or around lakes… the Centre-Val de Loire has beautiful and bucolic cycling trips in store. The most emblematic of our cycling routes is the Loire à Vélo, which takes you through towns, châteaux of the Loire Valley and renowned gardens… But there are also others, which are just as pleasant: The Indre by Bike, the Véloscenie, Saint-Jacques by Bike… In total, 10 itineraries, in addition to 9 circuits, which take you on a discovery of châteaux, vineyards, the Sologne, the Brenne or the Perche… This represents over 5,000 kilometres of cycling tracks to discover at your own pace!

Frequent cyclists, you will love these ten cycling tracks, which include the famous Loire à Vélo, the Véloscénie which runs along the Eure Valley and goes through Chartres, or Saint-Jacques by Bike, a pilgrimage route for cyclists which then joins the Loir Valley by bike route.

All linked to one another, they enable you to design your own circuits over several days, by taking the Indre by Bike, the Val de Cher, the canal of Berry, the Scandibérique or the Loire by Bike.
