Dive into the Sauvignon Odyssey and discover one of the Loire Valley vineyards by visiting the Villa Quincy. The site is run by the local authority and its exhibition space is entirely dedicated to the Sauvignon grape variety that originated in Quincy itself, according to some specialists. In the centre of the village, in Rue du Poinçon, lived René Marchais, a wine-maker. There is a magnificent vaulted cellar in the basement of his house where he stored his wine; on the other side of the street is a small house which served as a tasting cellar. These two houses now host a unique sensory journey where past and present join in a modern and interactive scenography that magnifies the ancestral vine.
