NEUVY-SAINT-SEPULCHRE
Description

Visits of the Romanesque basilica (11th and 12th centuries) with its rotunda, built to the same design as Jerusalem's Holy Sepulchre, listed by the UNESCO as world heritage monument. Neuvy takes its name from its circular church built by Eudes de Déols when he came back from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, built to the same design at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. A trail in the steps of Saint James The Greater, the church finds its richness thanks to the many gifts.
