When the summer comes, take the opportunity to relax in the countryside and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. The Azureva holiday village*** in Sologne has a “zen” theme and is ideal for unwinding. It is a former hunting lodge and is located on 9 wooded hectares beside a lake. The perfect place for a big breath of fresh air. The staff of the holiday village will give you a warm welcome and take extra care to make sure you spend an unforgettable holiday.  On site, a team of qualified staff, each an expert in their discipline, will offer you a variety of activities to relax.

Moments of well-being in nature

Relax, focus and take time for yourself through personal development workshops out in the wilds. As an example, the day might begin with a yoga class by the lake in order to wake up fully and boost your energy. In the afternoon, you might go on a tour of the forest to learn about sylvotherapy, a way of connecting with the forest to fill up with oxygen and let go. Relax, breathe the fresh air, awaken your senses through the trees. And this is just the start: other discoveries and moments of well-being await you: sophrology, IQ Gong, Do In… are you tempted? All is set for a relaxing holiday!

Relax by the lake or pool

On the estate, you can relax to your heart’s content in a calm and peaceful environment. Let yourself be tempted by a nap by the water, surrounded by nature, or sip a drink on the bar terrace. Fishermen will feel in paradise on the estate, as they can fish without a permit on the shores of the sublime 4-hectare lake while listening to songbirds in the quiet shade of the trees. Make the most of the heated pool, open every day during the summer, and take a dip. Lie down on a deck chair and read while keeping an eye on your children as the heat of the sun puts the finishing touches to your golden tan. You can also enjoy the sauna and its benefits. Everything here will allow you to spend a relaxing holiday!

Strolling through the forest

In the surrounding area, there are many walks revealing the bucolic charms of the region, its fauna and flora. The more athletic visitors can head off for an adventure along the trails, equipped with their best walking shoes. Walk through forests and marked paths, stop to take in the beautiful panoramic view over the splendours of nature and take a deep breath. That’s what Sologne is all about! You can even cycle with the family along easy routes to enjoy the wooded landscapes, ponds and vineyards. Enjoy the views!

Unleash your senses!

Be sure to visit the village of Sainte-Montaine to discover the mysterious Belle Fontaine, a source of so-called miraculous water with healing properties. You will have to go a few hundred metres into the forest and follow the sound of the running water to find the Belle Fontaine, surrounded by a chapel and a 19th century washhouse. In Sainte-Montaine, you can also use all of your 5 senses during a sensory walk. Sologne is magical!

History buffs will not be left out! Marvel at the unique architectural treasures on offer in Sologne, such as the Loire Châteaux or the Cathedral of Bourges, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Step back in time thanks to these wonders of history and discover all of their hidden secrets.

Enjoy Solognote cuisine

After busy days full of activities, you can enjoy the food in the village, which offers tasty buffets. At the table, there are mouth-watering Sologne specialties and you can revel in tasting regional wines. Delicious! In the summer, barbecue evenings and themed dinners give the garden a most welcoming atmosphere.

A unique stop for a relaxing well-being holiday in nature.

Having grown to love the Loir-et-Cher, I adore walking or cycling, taking the time to admire nature, especially along the Cher and Loire rivers.
